"Because Your Wife DOES NOT WORK....???"

The following is a conversation between Husband (H) and a Psychologist (P) P : What do you for a living Mr. Gupta? H : I work as an Accountant in a Bank. P : Your Wife ? H : She doesn't work. She's a Housewife only. P : Who makes breakfast for your family in the morning? H : My Wife, because she doesn't work. P : At what time does your wife wake up for making breakfast? H : She wakes up at around 5 am because she cleans the house first before making breakfast. P : How do your kids go to school? H : My wife takes them to school, because she doesn't work. P : After taking your kids to school, what does she do? H : She goes to the market, then goes back home for cooking & laundry. You know, she doesn't work. Great struggles

Take a life size print of these quotes, get it framed and hang in a prominent place at your Home or Office which you can see daily: "I used to serve tea at a shop to support my football training" - Lionel Messi "I didn't even complete my university education" - Bill Gates "I was raped at the age of 9 "- Oprah Winfrey "I was sexually, mentally, emotionally and verbally abused by my father as far back as I can remember until I left home at the age of eighteen" - Joyce Meyer "I struggled academically throughout elementary school" - Dr Ben Carson "I used to sleep on the floor in friends' rooms, returning Coke bottles for food, money, and getting weekly free meals at a local temple" -Steve Jobs "My teachers used to call me a failure" - Tony Blair "I was in prison for 27 years"- Retired President Nelson Mandela "Friends, there are many such people who struggled.. Life is not about what you couldn...

Celebrate this event called Life!!

As soon as you die, your identity becomes a "Body". People use phrases like: "Bring the Body", "Lower the Body i n the Grave", "Take the Body to the Grave yard", etc. People Don't Even call you by your Name whom you tried to Impress whole Life....  Live a Life to Impress the Creator not the Creation.  Take chances..  Tell the truth...  Learn to say NO... Spend money on the things u love...  Laugh till ur stomach hurts...  Dance Even if u are too bad at it...  Pose stupidly for photos... Be child-like.....  Moral: Death is not the greatest loss in life..  Loss is when life dies inside u while u are alive....Celebrate this event called LIFE.

Don't use Mobiles while Driving

Image
The recent gloomy accident in my colony has devastated me and left me with thoughts on the way we behave behind the wheels. Being distracted at the wheel of a car is about the most dangerous thing you can do in your daily life. It doesn’t take much speed to cause a serious injury to someone. Sometimes, if you don’t kill them, the life left to them is worse. If you caused something like that beca use you were texting or were on a call, could you forgive yourself? May be the lady who was driving the car is left liberated by the law of land in framework of an accident….But would she ever be able to pardon herself her whole life?? Would you be able to?? Almost everyone I know, myself included, uses mobile while driving. Not just when waiting at traffic light, but while on the move – reversing, parking, doing U-turns, going full throttle on the highway, in congested streets, through the intersections with no working traffic lights, and while merging with traffic. It’s bad enough wit...

Kolkata, The City of Joy

Image
Turbulence Turmoil Heavy-heart Anxiety Distress Nostalgia ……… .coz I ’ m leaving back … . City of Joy... I never read this book written by Dominique Lapierre in 1985.    The book received Christopher Award in 1986, given for creative work that exhibits the highest values of the human spirit.   I was too young then. I grew up in Kolkata, always wondered, what would this guy like so much about this city using my then petite intelligence and observation skills. But now since I've moved on from the city, I understand what I miss. Sitting on my 20C seat in my return flight looking over the window passenger, trying to catch a last glimpse of the city, my eyes are wet and heart heavy. It's not about the concrete. It's about People. The warmth, the contention, the hospitality, the love, the emotions, the honesty, the care, the concern, the values, the culture, the respect, and above all, my juvenile days, which I've LIVED here. There is something w...
