T he erratic electricity supply to industries as well as residential sectors, decreasing water table and unorganised transport facility including awfully maintained roads are taking a toll on the city. Owing to unavailability of these three main resources, the business operation cost has gone 10% higher than other business destinations such as Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai and Pune. The industries and business houses of the city have to incur an exorbitant cost on account of self-production of the electricity - which is around Rs. 16~20 per unit - besides safe transport facility for employees. Driving through the Highway and few focal roads like Golf Course Road, MG Road & Sohna Road during office hours is frightening due to utterly unmanaged traffic control systems and the spoiled roads at most important intersections...
