T he erratic electricity supply to industries as well as residential sectors, decreasing water table and unorganised transport facility including awfully maintained roads are taking a toll on the city. Owing to unavailability of these three main resources, the business operation cost has gone 10% higher than other business destinations such as Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai and Pune. The industries and business houses of the city have to incur an exorbitant cost on account of self-production of the electricity - which is around Rs. 16~20 per unit - besides safe transport facility for employees. Driving through the Highway and few focal roads like Golf Course Road, MG Road & Sohna Road during office hours is frightening due to utterly unmanaged traffic control systems and the spoiled roads at most important intersections...

A s we travel through life, each of us encounters people who disappoint and deceive us. In response to these negative experiences we often create a protective mental wall to keep people out and prevent us from experiencing this pain again. And in some ways, withdrawing from those around us and putting up our mental defences DOES work. It keeps corrupt people out, and protects us from their malicious intentions. However the problem with living life this way, is that in addition to keeping us isolated from the relatively few malicious people in the world, we also isolate ourselves from all the truly good people around us. When we become isolated from the world at large, we miss out on so much joy, happiness and laughter that the right people can bring into our lives.
